Models & "Art Lovers"

People normally think of Professional Modeling as a simple job and wonder "what is so difficult?". In some cases I agree with you but not with Fine Art Work…perhaps I'm not the only Artist that finds this to be true. The Model or Subject must hold a certain beauty to the Artist, know what he desires in his subject, and the rest will flow naturally.

None of which are simple task…there must be a connection between the two, be it unspoken or with gentle directions. What I am going to explain is quite difficult for me, so have patience with me as I attempt to find the proper words. I am easily an admirer of beauty, but my emotions go much deeper than just an eye for beauty or an admiration for such. It is very easy for me to find beauty in the most eloquent of subjects as well as the most common.

The desire to share my emotions with you is greatly dependent on the relationship between myself and my subject…and can "only" be achieved by us. To reach the ultimate ending my "Work of Art"…my subject and I must share a bond of sorts. To capture that special event, or that incredible photo…you should know that there must "always" be a special person in front of the camera. It must be a person who knows my heart, someone who loves what they do…that person who knows "exactly" what I desire and explore to find.

It is only then that the camera will capture what my Minds Eye is seeing. If this person knows my thoughts and what stirs my Soul with no guidance as we come together…then something truly "extraordinary", something considered rare, will come to be my "work of art"! Photographer and Model I am deeply aware that such photographs could never come to be without the Models feelings for me… her knowledge of my tastes, her cultural background, and her extraordinary knowledge of Art History.

I believe a Model is an artist equal to that of a photographer, sharing a common passion, exploring each other, exploring themselves totally for the same love of "LIFE"... in splendor, in happiness, in sadness, in beauty, horror and even death...

Art and Lovers, Lovers of the Art, Lovers of beauty, Lovers of nature, Lovers of the sea, Lovers of the forest, Lovers of places, Lovers of a memory, and a common passion that two artist share… just... simply,  "Lovers".
